Obituary for Robert Holland Robert Wesley Holland, longtime resident of Sterling Heights, died peacefully in his home on June 12, 2018 surrounded by the love of his family. He was 83 years of age. Robert was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 25, 1934, son of the late Robert Lee and Grace (Webb) Holland.

He was a graduate of Ohio State. Robert had a full and successful career as a salesman for Petrochemical Automotive after Market for over 20 years. He was united in marriage to his devoted and loving wife, Shirlee Myers, on January 23, 1954 in Muncie, Indiana.

The couple was blessed with three beautiful daughters of whom they loved and cherished. Robert loved a great game of golf and enjoyed tending to his rose and vegetable garden. He was a honest, faithful man who always had a helping hand to give.

Robert will always be known for his heart of gold, his uplifting words and kind smile. He will be deeply missed and his light will continue to glow in our hearts forever. Robert was the loving husband of 55 years to Shirlee; cherished father of Kimberly Hudzik, Julie (Greg) Holland-Alter, Catherine Podschwit and the late Christina Kazyaka; dear father-in-law of Duane Kazyaka; dearest grandmother of Robert, Jason, Justin, Brandon, Jennifer, Kristina, Felica, Taylor, Breanna, Daniel and Gregory; beloved great grandmother of Emerie, Liam, Zariah, Paula, Darren, Xavier, Damyn, Jordan, Makayla, Drake and Jasmine.

A memorial will be held at St. John Lutheran Church of Fraser on Saturday,July 14, 2018 at 1pm with memorial gathering starting at 12noon. Share memories at www.
