Roger D. Jackson, 79, of rural Macomb passed away at 1:55 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2018 at his residence. He was born on March 27, 1939 in Macomb to Donald R. and Margaret B. Tumey Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harvey Jackson.

Roger is survived by his life partner, Louise Barrett of Macomb; three sons, Rick (Colleen) Jackson of Macomb, Billy (Carol) Jackson of Macomb and Rodney Jackson of Macomb; one daughter, Marce (Michael) McGovern of Beeler, Kansas; 11 grandchildren, Allison, Meagan, Dalton, Michaela, Skylar, Dylan, Justin, Cody, Bailey, Reese and Delaney and three great-grandchildren. He lived in McDonough County all of his life and worked as a farmer and was a truck driver. He was an army veteran serving from 1962 to 1964.

He was a member of the Macomb American Legion. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private burial of ashes will be in Camp Creek Cemetery south of Macomb.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 3 Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the Macomb American Legion. Memorials may be made to MDH Hospice or Macomb American Legion. Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
