Ronald Allen “Hawkeye” Hawkins, 68, of Rainsville, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019. He was born January 13, 1951 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Ralph C. and Anna Barclay Hawkins. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Kirk Memorial Gardens with Dr. Kevin McCreless officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Fort Payne. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rita Thomas Hawkins; brother, Tom Hawkins; mother-in-law, Lovell Thomas; sister-in-law, Gelaine Thomas; brother-in-law, Bryan Thomas and wife, Beth; uncle, James O’Shields and wife, Jean; two nieces, one nephew, and several great-nieces and nephews.
