Obituary of Rosalie Gallo Rosalie Gallo of West Nyack, N.Y. passed away peacefully at home surounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. She was 80 years old. Rosalie was born on June 17, 1938 in Haverstraw, N.Y. to Anthony and Lena Morina.

She attended St. Peter’s School and graduated in 1956. Rosalie was employed at Lederle Labs for 5 years and was the Assistant Manager at The Bank of New York in Nanuet, N.Y. for 18 years. Rosalie was an active parishoner at St. Anthony’s R.C. Church in Nanuet.

She generously served the church as a religious education teacher and as the coordinator of the religious education program for grades 1-6 for 20 years. Also an active member of the Blessed Mother Sodality, serving two terms as its president and was also a Eucharistic Minister. Rosalie was a devoted wife to her loving husband Angelo for 59 years, mother to her 3 cherished daughters; Terry Starink (Dave); Lynne Kelly (Tim); and Diane Weir (Patrick).

Rosalie was the proud grandmother of her 6 precious grandchildren; Baylee, Sean, Katie, Kayla, Timmy, and Patrick. She is also survived by her loving sister Barbara Solfaro (Nick). Rosalie was pre deceased by her parents and her brother Joseph Morina.

The Family will receive friends on Friday, November 9th from 3pm to 8pm at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home, 728 West Nyack Road, West Nyack, NY 10994 (845) 358-4433, wwwsorcefuneralhome.com A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, November 10th at St. Anthony’s Shrine Church at 10am 36 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY 10954. Entombment to immediatly follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
