Oshier, 73, of Laurel Springs, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 7, 2019. Born in Grafenau, Germany, Ruth was raised in Kentucky, and resided in South Jersey most of her life. She and her husband owned and raced Thoroughbred horses.

Ruth was a member of the Pennsylvania Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association (PTHA). She was an avid reader and bingo player. Wife of the late Phillip G. Oshier; she is survived by her three children, Kim Kurtin (Bruce), Tracy Lanoza, and Steven Angeloff (Jennifer); two brothers, Bill Kidd (Judy), and Vernon Kidd; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Dulas), Kelly, Brock, Dalton, and Jacob; four great grandchildren, Emily, Oscar Michael, Noah, and Anthony; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday, January 14, 2019, from 6-8PM, and again on Tuesday, January 15, from 10-11AM, at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 11AM, at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Brig.

Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ruth’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
