Sandra L. Rogers, 78, of Palmer Township, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 in St. Luke’s University Hospital. Born October 6, 1939 in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late William McNally and Helen (Snyder) Cawley. Her husband of 50 years, Robert D. “Smiley” Rogers, Sr., passed away July 14, 2006.

Sandy loved spending time with family. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and going to casinos. Surviving are two sons, Robert D. Rogers, Jr. and his wife Gerri, of Huntsville, AL, and Randy T. Rogers, of Tatamy; a daughter, Roxanne Allen and her husband Richard, of Palmer Township; a brother, William McNally, of Phillipsburg, NJ; three sisters, Dolores Sheridan, of Phillipsburg, NJ, Barbara Norman, of Tennessee, and Donna Davis, of Florida; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Smith, of Wind Gap; seven granddaughters, Melissa Mimlitsch and her fiancé Luis DeJesus, Sr., Shannon Martin, Jessica Henriquez and her husband Celso, Andrea Craven and her husband Corey, Kelsey, Emily and Karley Rogers; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Alvin, Janiah, Luis Jr., Logan, Landon and Kinsley; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Donald Cawley, and a sister, Joyce Smith. Private services are under the direction of the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough. Burial will be in Hay’s Cemetery.
