Obituary for Shirley Ann Tipton Shirley Ann Tipton, age 60, Erwin, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was the daughter of Nancy Foster Tipton and the late Billy James Tipton who passed away on November 5, 2011. Shirley was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County.

She was homemaker and member of Clear Branch Baptist Church. Shirley loved the Lord and going to church where she enjoyed singing gospel hymns. She was a loving and devoted daughter.

Shirley loved Clarence’s pancakes! In addition to her mother, Nancy Foster Tipton, Shirley leaves behind to cherish her memory, two aunts: Linda Jones (Allen) and Patty Livingston; one cousin, Megan Foster Fitzgerald, all of Erwin. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Thursday, November 29, 2018 in the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel.

Reverend Bill Ponder will officiate at the 2:00 P.M. funeral service. Music will be provided by Inez Chandler. Pallbearers will be Gary Tilson, Allen Jones, Calen Jones, Derrick Rice, Greg Senn and Haven Hensley.
