Shyam Lal Bhatia, Green Bay, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center. Shyam was born on August 15, 1938 in India, the son of the now late Kishenchand and Parvati Bhatia. He was a civil engineer by profession and retired from Government Services in 1996.

On May 10, 1965 he married Dhani Bhatia and together they had 3 wonderful children. Shyam was an active sportsman and fitness was very important to him, especially yoga. He was a gifted vocalist and touched the hearts of many who heard him sing.

Shyam was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a friend to many and will always be lovingly remembered and sorrowfully missed. Shyam is survived by his wife of almost 54 years, Dhani, his children Jyoti (Sanjay) Chadha, Priya (Roger) Asija, Ashwani (Madhuri) Bhatia, 6 grandchildren, Mudit, Riya, Anika, Armaan, Aryaman, & Aryavir. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:30 to 4:30 P.M. on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere.

The family would like to offer a warm note of appreciation to the nursing staff and the hospitalist team at Aurora BareCare Medical Center for all of their loving care and devotion shown to Shyam~ your kindness will never be forgotten.
