Woolley, age 89, of Point Pleasant Beach passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Stanley was born on February 12, 1929 in Brielle, N.J. to the late Stanley and Elizabeth Woolley. A true patriot, Stanley proudly served in the National Guard.

Along with his wife Shirley, they settled in Point Pleasant Beach where they have resided and raised their family since 1954. Until his retirement, Stanley was a self-employed Contractor in the Point Pleasant community. During his leisure time Stanley enjoyed surf fishing and gardening.

A skilled builder, Stanley was always building unique items. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by his family.

Stanley is preceded in death by his parents and by his siblings, Elizabeth Brewer, Evelyn Fennell, Margaret Elmer and Everett Woolley. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Shirley Applegate Woolley; by his sons, Richard Woolley of New Hampshire, Jerry Woolley and his wife Debra of Pt. Pleasant Beach, and Scott Woolley and his wife Patricia of Pt.

Pleasant; one daughter, Suellen Bennett and her husband John of North Carolina. Stanley also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Sarah, Abigail, Patrick, Katie and Shannon, and one great grandson. At the request of the family all services are private and under the direction of Van Hise & Callagan Funeral Home, 812 Arnold Avenue Point Pleasant Beach, N.J. 08742.
