Steven Lee Fletcher, Sr. age 69, of Elwood, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 at his residence following an extended illness. Steve was born on March 19, 1949, to the late Thomas and Ruth (Petray) Fletcher. He graduated from Western High School in 1967.

Steve retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1992. On May 13, 1996 he married life Linda (Stephens) Fletcher. Steve enjoyed fishing and working wood puzzles and was a faithful member of the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church in Elwood.

Steven is survived by his loving Wife, of 22 years, Linda (Stephens) Fletcher of Elwood, 2 sons, Steven Lee Fletcher, Jr. of Elwood and Gary (Heather) Fletcher MacInnis of Noblesville, daughter, Laura Culpepper of AL, grandchildren; Melanie Fletcher, Heather Fletcher, Steven Fletcher III, Caitlin Flether, Ashley Tidwell, Mary Viola MacInnis, and Thomas Fletcher MacInnis, several great grandchildren, siblings, Jack D. Fletcher of Largo, FL, Sheryl (Dan) McLaughlin of Largo, FL, and, William (Kathy) Fletcher of Cicero, and several nieces and nephews. Steven was preceded in death by his father, Thomas D. Fletcher, and mother, Ruth P. Fletcher. A funeral service celebrating Steve’s life will be at 1:00 pm Friday, November 23, 2018 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana with David Hollis officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday, November 23, 2018, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church 400 North A Street, Elwood, IN 46036.
