Sue’s Obituary Sue Ann (Telling) Turo, 78, of Liverpool passed away on Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center. She was born in Flint, Michigan the daughter of the late Ronald and Rosella (Pratt) Telling. Sue Ann was raised in Okemos, MI where she attended high school.

She was employed by Crucible Materials Corporation for 22 years retiring in 2003. After her retirement she went back to work at St Matthew’s Episcopal Church as a Secretary and in the office at New Grenadier Village Condominium I. Sue Ann will be remembered as an unselfish soul, willing to put others needs before her own. She loved to listen to music and dancing.

An avid Michigan State Spartans sports fan, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also cherished going out to monthly dinners with her group of girlfriends. She was an active member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church and was extremely organized right up to the end.

Sue Ann is predeceased by her son-in-law, Jim Baker, brother, Gerald Telling and sister, Mary Barber. Surviving are her wonderful companion of many years, John Blattner, her daughter, Lori S. Baker of East Lansing, MI, son Michael M. Turo of Liverpool, two grandchildren, Jami Baker of Lansing, MI and Dustin Baker of Washington DC, sister, Joyce Anderson of Haslett, MI, sister-in-law, Beverly Restani of North Syracuse and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 9:00 to 11:00 am in St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 904 Vine Street, Liverpool, NY 13088 with Memorial services to follow at 11:00 am.

Private burial will take place in East Lawn Memory Gardens, Okemos, MI. Please consider contributions in Sue’s memory to St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church Memorial Fund.
