Obituary for Susan Taylor Horton Susan Horton went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 29, 2018 at age 60. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Tracy Horton; four children, Sherrie (Steven) Windsor, Leslie (Billy) Cook, Matt (Maggie) Horton, and Ashley (Andrew) Knerr; six grandchildren, Kelsey Windsor, Hailey Windsor, Trey Windsor, Katelyn Cook, Anderson Knerr, and Adaline Knerr; two brothers, Wayne (Sonda) Taylor and Danny (Carolyn) Taylor; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Susan retired from UAB Highlands where her coworkers became family to her as well as Carraway Methodist Medical Center.

She was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church and the Journey Life Group. Visitation will be Monday, July 2, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Gardendale First Baptist Church North Campus with the service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Oakwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Just Keep Smiling Foundation at www.
