Obituary of Suzanne L. “Sue” Bowker Suzanne “Sue” L. Bowker, 88, of Bay City, our loving and devoted mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend was born into eternal life on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Brian’s House. Sue was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania on December 15, 1929, the daughter of the late Howard and Mary (Compau) Birch. Sue graduated from St. James High School, Class of 1947.

She went on to marry the love of her life, David Bowker, on February 4, 1950. Sadly, David predeceased Sue on April 1, 2006. She was a life long parishioner at St. Jude Thaddeus Parish (St. John the Evangelist Church.

) Sue enjoyed going to the casino, reading, knitting, and spending time with her family. Sue leaves to cherish her memory, her five children, Barbara (Mark) Allen, Gerald (Rena) Bowker, Patricia (Louis) DuRussel, James (Lisa) Bowker, and Janet Fogelsonger; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; her sister, Linda (Dennis) Siriani; sister-in-law, Marjorie Hammond, along with several nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Sue was welcomed home to heaven by her son, Steven Bowker; son-in-law, Kenneth Fogelsonger; great-granddaughter, Jamie; brother, H. Dale Birch, and sister-in-law, Shirley Bowker.

Sue’s family will be present to receive visitors on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 9:00 AM until the time of her 11:00 AM Tribute Ceremony at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd. , Hampton Twp. A Celebration of Life Reception will follow in The Wesley Room at Skorupski’s.

The Rite of Committal will be held privately in St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Brian’s House. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.
