Ted’s Obituary Ted Charles Nidy, 49, of Cross Lanes, passed away on January 2, 2019. He was born on October 1, 1969 to Phyllis J. Nidy and the late Grover L. Nidy. Ted was a multi-talented guy.

He was well versed in music, art, and cooking, as well as his computer skills. He was always full of new and original ways of looking at life. Ted loved preforming and with the right opportunity, he could have made it professionally in the music world.

He was pursuing his talents in Nashville when he became ill. In addition to his mother, Ted is survived by his brothers, John H. Nidy (Beverly), Stephen L. Nidy, and Robert A. Nidy (Ruth); sister, Judy L. Hudson (Mark); uncles, Ross Camorlinga (Fran), Don Wiseman (Lynn), and Thomas Sharp; girlfriend, Zina Turner (thank you for all your love and care); several nieces and nephews, and many, many special friends. No services are scheduled at this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ted’s name to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311. Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
