Obituary for Terry Blaine Brown Mr. Terry Blaine Brown, of Kannapolis, 70, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018, at William G. “Bill” Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury. A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain LT.

Brandy C. Brown will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis with Military Honors provided by the Cabarrus County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 11 to 11:45 am Wednesday at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Brown was born January 31, 1948 in Cabarrrus County. He was a son of the late Hoyt Allen Brown and Robbie Lee Crook Brown. Mr. Brown was a Veteran of the US Army and had retired from Winn-Dixie as a manager in Kannapolis with 39 years of service and later worked for Food Lion for several years.

Mr. Brown loved to travel to Mississippi and Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Hoyt Allen Brown; mother, Robbie Lee Brown; and sister, Melitta Spry. Mr. Brown is survived by his sister, Latane Key of Kannapois; brother; Gary Brown of Midland; and several nieces and nephews.
