Terry L. Hitz, Sr., 65, of Annville, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lebanon on June 23, 1953, he was the son of the late Alfred A. and Gloria J. Zimmerman Hitz. Terry graduated from Annville-Cleona High School, and worked in Masonry.

He enjoyed building things, coin collecting and had an interest in the Civil War. Surviving is a son Terry L. Hitz, Jr., husband of Belinda of Lebanon, daughter Heidi F. Dounouk, wife of Jared of Camp Hill, grandchildren Amanda and Vivienne, and sisters Brenda J. Brown, wife of Robert of Fredericksburg, and Kathleen A. Daub, wife of Donald of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by a brother Richard A. Hitz.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 12:00 to 1:45 PM at Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville, PA 17003. Graveside service will be held at 2 PM at Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Terry’s memory to the Civil War Museum, One Lincoln Circle at Reservoir Park, Harrisburg, PA 17103, or to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603, or the American Lung Association National Direct Response Headquarters, 1200 Hosford Street, Suite 101, Hudson, WI 54016-9316.
