Therese’s Obituary Dover – Therese Jeanne Hartford, 89, loving wife of Gerald Hartford, passed away on January 20, 2019, surrounded by her husband and family. Therese was born November 5, 1929, in Dover and was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Pauline (Labrie) Martel. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gerald Hartford.

She is also survived by a sister, Rita Chase of Dover, brothers, Robert and Yvonne Martel of Dover, Emile “Dick” Martel of Barrington, Richard Martel of Strafford, Bertrand and Louise Martel of Somersworth, as well as a brother-in-law, Gerard Lemieux of Dover, a sister-in-law, Audrey Martel of Rochester. Therese is predeceased by a sister, Pauline Lemieux, brothers, Wilfred Martel Jr., Raymond Martel, and Paul Martel. She was also predeceased by a sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Martel, Ruth Martel, and Susan Martel.
