Obituary for Thomas Franklin “Frankie” Weaver III Thomas Franklin “Frankie” Weaver, III, age 40, of Erwin passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Johnson City Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. A native of Erwin, Frankie is a son of Dee (Tipton) Weaver-Peterson and the late Thomas Franklin Weaver, Jr He attended West Park Street Baptist Church.

He loved his family and was an avid Tennessee football fan. In addition to his father, Frankie is preceded in death by sisters, Brandi Weaver and Teresa McKinney and by several aunts and uncles. Thomas Franklin “Frankie” Weaver, III leaves behind to cherish his memory: Mother and step-father: Dee Weaver-Peterson and Benny Peterson; Sister: Sandy McKinney; Niece: Mindy Johnson and husband, Allen, Alex Duty and husband, Seth; Nephews: Michael Peterson and wife, Kelly, Aaron Peterson and fiancé, Summer Keller, Patrick Hodge; Great nieces: Rilee Peterson, Allie Jo Johnson; Great nephews: Conner Guy Peterson, Ryan “Little Ram” Johnson; Aunt: Karen Weaver, Jo Ann Hodge and husband, Kelly, Betty Stockton and husband, Carter, Geneva Silvers and the late Freeman Silvers, Jessie Grassi and the late Lawrence Grassi.

The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Thomas Franklin “Frankie” Weaver, III in a funeral service to be held at 7:00 PM, Friday, January 4, 2019 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. Preacher Jeff Autrey will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by Jamie Tipton.

Those attending the services are asked to wear their Tennessee orange to celebrate Frankie’s life. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 PM and will continue until service time on Friday, January 4, 2019. A graveside committal service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 5, 2019 in Evergreen Cemetery.

Those attending the committal service will meet at Valley Funeral Home by 10:30 AM to go in procession. Serving as active pallbearers will be David Tipton, Jack Tippton, Eric Casey, Jonathan Kegley, Nick Bowen, Derek Bryant, Jeremiah Honeycutt and David Bowman. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Peterson, Aaron Peterson, Allen Johnson, Allen Mango and Randy Briggs.
