Timothy Cecil McAlpin, 65, of Florence, passed away March 2, 2019. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church; a 1976 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Pharmacy School; and owner/operator of Tim’s Discount Drugs. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 11-1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church.

A celebration of life will begin at 1 p.m. with Rev. Dale Cohen and Rev. Terry StubbleField officiating.

Mr. McAlpin was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Marcene McAlpin. He is survived by his wife, Donna Murphree McAlpin; sons, Andrew Timothy McAlpin, Jon Murphree McAlpin (Becca), and Benjamin Harris McAlpin (Elizabeth); and grandchildren, William Andrew McAlpin, Thomas Charles McAlpin, Palmer Reese McAlpin, and Hogan Ross McAlpin. Honorary pallbearers will be Clay Hall, Mike McCarty, the late Dr. John Murphy, John Thomas Murphy, Steve Murphree, Greg Thornton, Tim Taylor, Bob McKenzie, Dan Girsch, Tommy Darby, and Goodloe Pride, III.

Tim cherished the girls who worked with him.
