Tori Mae Saben Smith , 30, of Mediapolis, died at 8:46 pm Thursday, November 15, 2018, near Solon as a result of an automobile accident. Born October 13, 1988, in Iowa City, IA, she was the daughter of David M. and Christina M. Saben Smith. Tori was of Christian Faith.

Tori was a hard worker. She had a spirit full of life. She had beautiful eyes and a beautiful smile.

Tori was a giving person. She helped with so many causes and her last wish was to donate to save others. Tori graduated from Mediapolis High School in 2007 where she was a cheerleader and a member of the dance squad, band and marching band.

She was also involved in dance, Girl Scouts and 4-H. Tori enjoyed singing and reading. She had a good sense of humor, was very creative and was a strong animal lover.

Tori was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, a good friend and most importantly a mother. She loved her 3 sons very much! Survivors include her three children, Adrian Michael , Liam Isaac and Kingsley Thomas Saben; her parents, David and Christina Smith of Mediapolis, IA; two brothers, Tyler Matthew Saben-Smith and Trey Michael Saben-Smith; maternal grandparents, Robert (Dora) Saben; paternal grandmother, Marjorie (Jim) Roth of Waukee, IA; several aunts, uncles and many cousins.

She was preceeded in death by her paternal grandfather, Gary Lee Smith. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM with the family to receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday, November 19, 2018 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home. The funeral service for Tori will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home with Chaplin Dean Graber officiating.

Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for her children’s continued education. Tori Smith Funeral Service from Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home on Vimeo.
