Twyla Thiebolt age 99, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Kingston of Ashland. She was born June 30, 1918 in Ashland, the daughter of Charles and Mary Arlu (Sellers) Jarvis. Mrs. Thiebolt had been a lifelong resident of Ashland where she was a Homemaker.

She had been employed with Star Telephone where she was an operator and also with National Latex. While working with Star Telephone during WWII Twyla would relay messages to families that didn’t have telephones from their son’s over sea. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Twyla was an avid reader of Josh Grischman books and enjoyed gardening. On November 25, 1945 Twyla married Don Thiebolt in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Twyla is survived by her caregivers James and Betty Kiser of Ashland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Don, and sisters, Kathleen Jarvis and May Gresmer. There will be a private burial at Ashland County Memorial Park.
