Ursula E Woodman, 92, of Torrington, CT, passed away June 20th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of the late Frederic Hyres Jr. Ursula was born in Kassell Germany, on January 12, 1926, a daughter of the late Ella (Giessler) and Wilhelm Gossmann. She was retired from Guida Dairy in Torrington An active member of Sullivan Senior Center, she was a long time volunteer for RSVP and NW CT Aids Project, She is survived by her daughter Elfrieda Fieldman of Harwinton, son William R. Hyres and wife Lori of Redding Ca step son Frederic L. Hyres of Germany, 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, and sister Lisa Vollmer and husband Gerhard of Germany several nieces and nephews and cousin Karin Vollmer.

Services are at the convenience of the family. Memorial Contributions can be made to Friendly Hands Food Bank 50 King St Torrington CT 06790.
