Obituary for Virginia (Dee) Curtis Beloved mother and grandmother passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Covenant Healthcare Harrison. Age 67 years. The daughter of the late Frank and Dolores (Podojak) Scott, Virginia was born November 16, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan.

She married Richard Curtis, her loving husband of nearly 50 years, on January 11, 1969. He predeceased her March 25, 2018. Dee was employed at Sav-A-Lot for several years.

She enjoyed attending events with her husband Rich and Tiger Baseball. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Surviving are two sons and their spouses, Richard C. Curtis Jr. and his wife Terri; Scott A. Curtis and his wife Suzanne; six grandchildren, Samantha, Mallory, Ryan, Emerson, Wyatt and Ikie; three sisters and two brothers, Sandy (George) Abbott, Carol (Dan) Ahrens, Sue Scott Young, John (Mimi) Scott, Joe Scott and Paulette Matt; many nieces and nephews.

Dee was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Scott. Honoring Mrs. Curtis’ wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.
