Obituary for Ronald T. Snow Sr. Snow, Ronald T. Sr., Saginaw Twp. , Michigan. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018.

Age 87 years. Son of the late Frank S. and Marie (Balazer) Snow, Ron was born January 8, 1931 in Hamtramck, Michigan. He married Felicia L. Karwacki on May 16, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan and celebrated 65 loving years of marriage.

She survives him. Ron was a 1954 Graduate of Wayne State University in Mortuary Science. In 1967, Ron and Phyllis became the owners of The Snow Funeral Home in Saginaw.

Ron was an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He served as president of the parish council as well as president of the Athletic Association. He was a commentator and usher and was involved in the Building Committee of the new church.

Ron was the proud recipient of the Saginaw Catholic Schools Hall of Fame Award in 1993. He was a member of the Michigan Funeral Directors Association, past President of MFDA District #12 and District #7. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4232 and Brothers of Koscuiszko Pulaski Club.

He was proud to serve many families with his profession, loved his family and friends and serving the Lord. Surviving besides his wife Phyllis are four sons and their spouses, Ronald and Michelle (Osmond) Snow Jr., Saginaw; Kevin A. Snow, Scottsdale, Arizona; Timothy and Sherry (Morais) Snow, DeWitt; Eric and Mary (McManaman) Snow, Keller, Texas; seven grandchildren, Thomas and Nicki Snow, Patrick and Stephanie Snow, Rochelle Snow, Jessica and Scott Huneau, Nicholas Snow, Cooper Snow and Alicia Snow; two great grandchildren, Carter G. Snow and Quinn Olivia Huneau; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friend. Ron was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel and Jerome Snow.

Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State St., Saginaw. Rev. Fr.

Richard Jozwiak and Rev. Fr. Richard A. Bokinskie will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery.

Friends may visit at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. , ( between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass. The Knights of Columbus Council # 4232 will pray the Rosary at 3:00 p.m. Friday and a Vigil Service will take place 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
