Virginia May Clippinger, 94 of Reynoldsburg and formerly of the Jeromesville area, died Monday June 18, 2018 at Tuscany Gardens Nursing Home in Pataskula. She was born December 12, 1923 in Wooster the daughter of Walter and Stella Saunders Smith. She was a civil service secretary and had also worked at Wooster Brush.

Virginia was an avid Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan. She is survived by three children, Barry Clippinger of Wooster, Jill Martie of Summit Station, and Jeff Clippinger of Jeromesville, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Harriet Funk and Ruth Sigler, and a brother, Ralph Smith.

Private family graveside services will be 11:00 AM Thursday June 21, 2018 at Jeromesville Cemetery with Pastor Sue Chidley officiating. There will be no calling hours. Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
