Walter Lee Carr Jr., 66, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 at his home. Walter was born in LaPorte, Indiana on July 15, 1952 to the late Walter Lee Sr. and Teresa (Beck) Carr. He was a metal fabricator for 28 years.

While being raised as an Army brat, Walter graduated from Reitz High School with the class of 1970. He enjoyed corny jokes, helping others, traveling, fishing and working in his yard. Walter’s creativity shown best while he was working on one… Read More » of his building projects.

All animals loved Walter, they were always drawn to him. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren whom he deeply loved. Walter is survived by his wife of 29 years, Patsy (Chapman) Frasier of Evansville, IN; children, April Cramer (Eric) of Indianapolis, IN, Kim Frasier, Michelle Frasier and Brian Frasier (Ellen) all of Evansville, IN; brother, Byron Carr of SC; grandchildren, Grant, Abby, Dakota (Sammi), Chase (Becca), Tricia (Bass), Jasmine, Austin and Emma; nine great-grandchildren with one due in February; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Maria Burgess. A celebration of Walter’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. , Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Tim Garrett officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 9:00 AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh Humane Society, PO Box 6711, Evansville, IN 47719 or to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 13067, Alexandria, VA 22312.
