Donald Wayne LeBansky, 81, of Richland Center, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Pine Valley Community Village. He was born on October 28, 1936 to Clifford LeBansky and Freda (Sugden) Shelby at the Dautiloff Home in Richland Center. Wayne was married on June 4, 1955 to the former Ruth Marie Travis and she preceded him in death on November 17, 2017.

He worked at the Richland County Aslymn until 1963 then the Senior Citizen Home known as Pine Valley Community Village.

Wayne worked as a nurses aide until 1976. He worked part time at the Gambles Store in Richland Center and a short time at the Richland Center Foundry. He enjoyed music very much and he was very talented playing instruments like the fiddle and guitar and singing.

Wayne and his friends would gather and have jam sessions every now and then. They called themselves the Richland County Boys. Wayne loved watching and listening to ballgames on TV and radio.

He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Wayne is survived by six children: LouAnn (Don) Walton of Richland Center, John LeBansky of Richland Center, Dixie (Ed) Wynhoff of Richland Center, Shelby (Brian) Harris of Viola, Travis LeBansky of Muscoda, Debra of Wonewoc; eight grandchildren: MaryAnn Hart of Beaver Dam, LeeAndra (Floyd) Bartow of Lone Rock, Marcus Wynhoff of Florida, Tylor Harris of Florida, Zach Harris, Alex Harris of Viola, Mackenzie Sheafor of Wonewoc, Paige LeBansky of Richland Center; three great grandchildren: Peyton Bartow, McKenna Weiland, Benjamin Harris (Amelia); two siblings: Bob and (Jan) Shelby of Richland Center and Sandie (John) Granger of Richland Center, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his former wife Ruth, father Clifford LeBansky, mother Freda Shelby, two children, Donald Henry and Angela Marie.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at the Basswood Cemetery. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements. Online condolences may be made at prattfuneralservice.com.
