William Oscar “Bill” Grabill Jr., age 98, of Johnsville, died peacefully Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Ministries, Emmitsburg, with his family by his side. Born August 17, 1919 in Ladiesburg, he was the son of the late William O. Sr. and Martha Jane Blessing Grabill. He was the husband of Louise Burrier Grabill, his wife of 69 years.

In addition to his wife he is survived by brother-in-law, Calvin Burrier and wife Donna of Oakland; sisters-in-law, Helen Burrier of Rocky Ridge and Sylvia Burrier of Johnsville; numerous nieces and nephews including Brenda Beachy and Pat Kontz.

Bill was the last of his immediate family, being predeceased by sisters, Mary Grabill Crabbs and Alice Grabill Grim and brother, Granville L. Grabill. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 13 at Johnsville United Methodist Church, with Rev. Margaret Moon, church pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in Johnsville Methodist Cemetery. There will be no public visitation at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of service.
