Obituary for Mr. Willie C. Williams Willie Williams, 75, of Ocean passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Willie was born on June 24, 1942 in Palatka Florida to the late Clarence and Edna Mae Williams. Willie attended the Palatka school system and after graduating he moved to Neptune New Jersey.
In 1962 he married Ireice Key and during their marriage they had two children Renata and Allen. In 1977 Willie married his current wife Pauline and resided in Asbury Park NJ before moving to Ocean Township NJ. Willie worked for the United States Postal Service retiring after 30 years.
He loved watching sports, going to Mets and Yankees games and going to the Monmouth Park race track to play the horses. Willie was a star second basemen for the Red Banks Reds softball team for several years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years Pauline (Tina) Williams his brother Rev Clarence Williams Jr. three sisters Earline, Patricia and Delores all of Florida. His daughter Renata Williams Thompson of Spartanburge SC, his son Allen Williams (Wife Aundria) of Bayville NJ and his Stepdaughter Lisa Hall Sprague (Husband Sean) of Long Branch NJ. Willie is also survived by seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, aunts Isola and Ruby of Florida and a host of family and friends….
. Visitation will be held on Saturday 9am-11am, with a service to follow at 11 :00am, at Shiloh Baptist Church, Manasquan New Jersey. Pastor Michael Morgan Officating.
