Yvonne Louise Berstler, 83, of North Vernon, passed away Thursday, January 03, 2019, at Schneck Medical Center. A funeral memorial will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Vernon Presbyterian Church. Rev.

Michael Bean will officiate. Visitation will begin at the church at 1:00 p.m. and continue until the time of the service. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.

Born June 6, 1935, in Burlington, KS, Yvonne was the daughter of Bert and Gladys Smith Lindeau. She married Donald Berstler on April 30, 1993. He preceded her in death on July 4, 2006.

She had worked as a PBX Operator at Holiday Inn Resort Hotel in Arlington, TX. She was a member of Vernon Presbyterian Church and enjoyed baking, birdwatching, reading and puzzles. Yvonne is survived by two sons, Ronald (Sandra) Rosenbalm of Scipio and James Rosenbalm of Erie, PA; step-daughter, Donna Jean Dunaway of TX; step-son, Don Berstler of TX; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, James Rosenbalm; husband, Donald Berstler; and two brothers, Eugene and Dale Lindeau. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
