Albert H. Janecko Ambridge Albert H. Janecko, 88, of Ambridge, died Saturday, April 28, 2018, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. Born February 21, 1930, in Ambridge, son of the late Andrew and Mary Janecko, he was retired from the Ambridge Area School District, a member of the Good Samaritan Church and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Janecko, on February 19, 2004; one brother, Edward Janecko and one sister, Gertrude Stauff.

He is survived by a son, Leonard Janekco, Ambridge; one daughter and son-in-law, Marymargaret and David Blum, Sewickley; two grandchildren, Brian Blum and Michelle Blum; two great-grandchildren, Leah Hughes and Zoe Blum, and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 3 to 7 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. , 1099 Maplewood Ave.

, Ambridge, where a service will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. in the Good Samaritan Church. Interment will follow in Good Samaritan Cemetery.
