Dorothy “Cat” (Omogrosso) Kachur, 60, of Center Twp. , passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday April 25, 2018, in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born December 18, 1957 in Beaver Falls, she was a daughter of the late Joseph “Smokey Joe” and Violet (Hayden) Omogrosso.

Dorothy currently was employed as a rebate analyst for Eaton Corp. with 18 years of service. She was a member of Valley Christian Fellowship Church, and the A.F.F.L.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three… Read More » brothers, Nicholas Vrankovich, Joseph Omogrosso, and Rudy Vrankovich, and a brother-in-law, Boyd Blinn. Surviving are her children, Matt (Kristy) Kachur, Melanie Kachur, Gabriel (Jessica) Kachur, Stephen Kachur, and Marissa (Brian) Viti; her “adopted” children, Kos, Shoudy, Bandit, Zig, Selby, L.B., B.G., and Jeffy; a brother Mark Omogrosso; a sister, Natalie Blinn; special family members; Helen Kachur, Erica Kachur, Isaiah Kachur and Frank Mezzapeso, numerous nieces and nephews, and the joy of her life on earth for the past six years, her baby girl and granddaughter, Eliana. She also leaves behind her church family, whom she loved with all her heart.

Dorothy will always be remembered as a genuine servant of the Lord who gave her time, opened her door, table, ears and heart, to whoever needed them, no matter what. Friends will be received Sunday from 1 to 5pm in Tatalovich Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., CENTER TWP. , 3475 Brodhead Rd.

, Monaca, PA. 15061, where a service will be held Monday at 10am, with Rev’s Clinton and Patti Elliott, officiating. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither the present nor the future, neither height or depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
