Steve Rodich, 79, of Hopewell Twp. , passed away Saturday April 14, 2018 in Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley, Beaver. Born January 24, 1939 in Aliquippa, he was a son of the late Milos and Mildred (Brdar) Rodich.

Mr. Rodich retired as a Motor Inspector from LTV Steel, and as a Manager of Employee Benefits from J&L Specialty Steel. Surviving are his devoted wife of 53 years, Louise (Conti) Rodich; a son, Michael Rodich, and his girlfriend, Susan Passov; a daughter, Michelle Frye; five beloved grandchildren, Darric, Dayna and Dante Rodich, and Garyt and Christiane Frye; 3 brothers and two sisters-in-law, Duke Rodich, Art and Louise Rodich, and Eli and Sophie Rodich; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Nadine and Ron Yuhasz, and Sarah Nenadovich; former daughter-in-law, Doreen Bufalini; former son-in-law, Gary Frye; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Christine and Dan Reynolds, Georgine Rodich, and Joe Cercone, and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister-n-law, Milo and Alice Rodich, and George Rodich, and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy and Frank Goydich, and Joanne Cercone, and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Eugene and Jean Costanza. Friends will be received Wednesday from 4 to 8pm in Tatalovich Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, Pa.

15001. Family and friends will meet Thursday at St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church, 2200 Irwin St., Aliquippa, where a service will be held Thursday at 10am, with Fr. Branislav Golic, officiating.

Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Twp. Pomen (blessing service) will be Wednesday at 7:30pm in the funeral home.

Prior to his passing, Steve wanted to recognize and thank the nurses and staff at Heritage Valley, Sewickley, for their compassion, dedication and excellent care, in particular, Renee Yuhasz at the Patient Treatment Department. He also wanted to thank the physicians, nurses, and staff at UPMC Cancer Center in Moon Twp. , for their compassion, deep commitment to service and patient care, especially, Dr. Robert Schillo.
