Leona Ann Masciantonio, 89, of Aliquippa, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2108, in Heritage Valley, Sewickley. Born September 12, 1928 in Ambridge, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Pasqualina Bufalini. Mrs. Masciantonio was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church in Aliquippa, and St. Titus Confraternity of Christian Mothers.

In addition to her parents,… Read More » she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. Masciantonio in 2013, and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Andrea Masciantonio, and Michael and Piera Masciantonio; three daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Larry Plutko, Mary Margaret and Jeff Sies, and Rosemary and Jeff Baker; thirteen grandchildren, Joey, Andrew, Michael, Mario, Marco, Nathan, David, Alissa, Greg, Gina, Nichole, Jeffrey, and Krista, and 8 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received Friday from 4 to 8pm in Tatalovich Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, Pa. 15001, where a service will be held Saturday at 9am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Titus Catholic Church, Aliquippa, with Fr. Martin Bartel, officiating.

Mrs. Masciantonio will be laid to rest privately, next to her husband, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to For the Love of Grace Foundation, in honor of her great granddaughter, Gianna Grace. St. Titus Confraternity of Christian Mothers will recite a rosary Friday at 3:30pm in the funeral home.

Leona will fondly be remembered as the best mother and nonna. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
