Alma Lee Techau June 22, 1921 – January 22, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Alma Lee Techau, 97, of Macon, MO, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at the Samaritan Hospital in Macon, MO. Alma was born on June 22, 1921, in Hurdland, MO, the daughter of Ray and Edith (Zinn) Buck. She was united in marriage to Harold Techau on December 31, 1941.

Alma was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Macon. She loved playing the piano, reading, writing, gardening, spending time on the farm, and helping her husband with the horses. Alma is survived by her children, Joseph Techau of Mattoon, IL, Bob Techau of Callao, MO, Tom Techau and his wife Kathy of Callao, MO, Myrial Streight of Macon, MO, Mary Adams and her husband Loren of Macon, MO, and Mildred Williams and her husband Ona of Nixa, MO; eleven grandchildren, Ed Adams, Marcie Kelso, Bill Techau, Tony Collins, Donna Techau, Lee Ann Payne, Robb Techau, Nathan Techau, Jennifer Duncan, Loretta Anderson, and Linette Uong; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one infant son, Earnest; grandson, Bobby Techau; infant granddaughter, Loretta Michelle; two daughters-in-law, Vicky Techau, and Carol Techau; and one son-in-law, Nolan Streight. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 26, 2019, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon with Rev. Joe Techau and Rev.

Kelly Perry officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, until the time of service at the funeral home.

Family suggests memorials to the First Church of the Nazarene in Macon.
