Juanita Fay Shearer May 22, 1925 – January 10, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Juanita Fay Shearer, 93, of Macon, MO, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at the Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon. Fay was born on May 22, 1925, in College Mound, MO, the daughter of Elmo and Myrtle L. (Compton) Blew. She was united in marriage to Paul Shearer on October 4, 1943.

Fay was a member of the College Mound Presbyterian Church in College Mound and enjoyed the St. Louis Cardinals, crocheting hats and scarves for the homeless, volunteering for Project Patricia (helping women in underdeveloped countries) and especially spending time with her family and friends. Fay is survived by three children, Paula Fessler and her husband Bob of Fulton, MO, Glenda Wylie of Parkville, MO, and Arnie Shearer and his wife Karen of Excello, MO, nine grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul, and one son, Randy Shearer.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, January 15, 2019, Tuesday afternoon, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Burial will be in the College Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm, Tuesday, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the College Mound Cemetery.
