Doris Mae Main November 03, 1929 – January 01, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Doris Mae Main, 89, of Macon, MO, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family. Doris was born on November 3, 1929, in Macon, MO, the daughter of Harry L. and Carrie (March) Stamp. She was united in marriage to Willard Main on July 20, 1946 in Macon.

Doris was a member of the First Christian Church of Macon, Macon County Fly Wheel Club, Macon Flamin’ Dames Red Hat Group, and the Silver Singles. She enjoyed camping, walking, dancing, going to the Stretch and Flex class at the YMCA, and being with family. Doris is survived by one daughter, Neena Main of Marshfield, MO; three grandchildren, Zack Cunningham and his wife Cassie of Springfield, MO, Seth Cunningham and his wife Chelsea of Hoodsport, WA, and Leah Loftin and her husband Jeremy of Marshfield, MO; five great-grandchildren, Baylee Dill-Cunningham, Connor Loftin, Blaire Loftin, Waylon Cunningham, Callie Cunningham; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willard on March 29, 1995; two brothers, Lee and Earl; and her sister Beulah. Funeral services will be 11:30 am, Friday, January 4, 2019, at the First Christian Church in Macon with Dr. Dave Leslie officiating. Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.

Visitation will be Friday morning, from 10:00 am until the time of service, at the church. The family suggests memorials to the Macon County Fly Wheel Club, Randy Johnson Memorial Fund, or the First Christian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO.
