Thomas “Tom” Andrew Lane February 05, 1931 – February 23, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Thomas “Tom” Andrew Lane, 88, of Macon, MO, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at the Boone County Medical Center in Columbia, MO. Tom was born on February 5, 1931, in Advance, MO, the son of Ivan Seymore and Emma (McFerron) Lane. He was united in marriage to Jane Austin McKinney on April 7, 1951, in St. Louis, MO.

Tom served in the United States Air Force from 1951-1955 during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Lion’s Club, and the Macon Country Club. Tom loved golfing, reading, and especially spending time with his family and friends.

Tom is survived by his wife, Jane Lane of Macon, three children, Andrew “Drew” Lane and his wife Cathy, Rebecca Lane-Estrada and her husband Raul, all of Tucson, AZ, and Jason Lane of Columbia, MO, four grandchildren, Lindsey Hinz and her partner Ron Bedoya of Tucson, Corey Lane of Tucson, Tommy Hinz and his wife Gwen of Columbia, MO, and Jordan Lane of Tucson, and two great-grandchildren, Aidan Cross and Seth Cross. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Foster and Gary, and two sisters, Maude and Virginia. Memorial services will be 12:00 noon, Friday, March 1, 2019, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon with Bro.

Jim Bolin officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Samaritan Memorial Foundation or the United Methodist Church.
