Dennis was born on December 21, 1949, in Carrollton, MO, the son David and Ruth (Lybarger) Manning. He served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborn during Vietnam.

Dennis was married to Linda Moser and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially spending time with his friends and family. Dennis is survived by his wife, Linda Manning of Clarence; two sons; two daughters; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, David Manning of Carrollton; nieces, nephews, in-laws, and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son.

Graveside memorial service, with full military honors, will be 11:00 am, Friday, January 11, 2019, at the Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. Memorials are suggested to the United Methodist Church in Clarence. Arrangements are under the direction of Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO.
