Madison, IA, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at the Hillcrest Care Center in DeSoto, MO. Harold was born on June 25, 1936, in Hurdland, MO, the son Paul and Juanita (Hook) Roberts.

He was united in marriage to Shirley Walton on March 31, 1956 in Fort Madison, IA. Harold loved going to church and was a devoted Christian. He was very artistic and enjoyed watching movies.

Harold is survived by his four children, Mark Alan Roberts and his wife Debora of Old Monroe, MO, Michael Douglas Roberts of Hecker, IL, and Christian Lee Roberts of Old Monroe, MO; five grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, Shirley, Jennifer, and Lindsey; and three great-grandchildren, Haley, Christian, and Emily. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and one son, Matthew John Roberts. Graveside service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, January 26, 2019, at the Locust Grove Cemetery in Callao, MO.

Memorials are suggested to the Locust Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO.
