A funeral procession will form Monday 10 AM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM at Saint Mary’s Church.

Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery. Angeline L. “Angie” Nelson, 94, of Lake Katrine formerly of Deyo Street died Monday January 21, 2019 at Ten Broeck Commons in Lake Katrine. Born October 5, 1924 in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Machileo and Lillian (Turco) Forte.

Angie worked as a seamstress in the local garment industry. Surviving are her children, Richard Nelson and his wife Kathie of Kingston, Patricia A. Brandt and her husband Barry of Kingston, Linda Nerone and her husband Robert of Port Ewen, Robert Nelson and his wife Kristy of Port Ewen; her brother Joseph S. Forte of Kingston; her sister, Arlene Forte Bruck and her husband Laurence of Kingston; her grandchildren, Paula Jean Auringer, Michael Nelson, Mark Nelson, Alison Brandt, Ryan Brandt, Katlyn Nerone, Bryanna Montpeirous and Kyle Nelson and his fiancée Mallory Ameneiros. Eleven great-grandchildren also survive.

Angie’s husband, whom she married in 1946 at Saint Mary’s Church, Ralph E. Nelson; her grandson, Christopher Brandt; brother Michael P. Forte and sister, Theresa DeBroskey all died previously.
