Obituary of Angelo Giuffre Mr. Angelo J. Giuffre of Matamoras, PA and formerly of Ridgewood Queens died Thursday, September 27, 2018 at home with his family by his side. He was 82. He was proud of his Italian heritage and was born on January 22, 1936 in Polizzi Generosa, Italy the son of the late Frank Giuffre and the late Grace Tumminello Giuffre.

Angelo married Margaret A. Zizzo 58 years ago on September 4, 1960 in New York City, NY. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Howard Beach, NY as a Letter Carrier for 30 years. Angelo was a member of St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Matamoras, PA and the Knights of Columbus John Paul II Council #13935, Milford, PA.

A family statement read: Angelo was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and uncle who will be dearly missed. Surviving are: Wife: Margaret Giuffre At home Daughter: Grace Sykora and her husband Michael Oxford, NJ Son: Frank Giuffre Matamoras, PA Daughter: Anne Ziegeler and her husband Klaus Matamoras, PA 3 granddaughters: Christina Sykora, Michele Sykora and Danielle Sykora 1 grandson: Nicholas Ziegeler Brother-in-law: John Zizzo and his wife Thalia New York, NY Sister-in-law: Maryanne Smrek and her husband Robert Freehold, NJ Also several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc. 100 East Main Street Port Jervis on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm & 7:00 – 9:00 pm Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 with a 10:00am prayer at the funeral home followed by 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, 307 Ave.

F., Matamoras, PA with MSGR. Remigio Rocco officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY.
