Obituary for Anson Amber Sherry Breashears Anson “Amber Sherry” Breashears, age 34, was born on May 6, 1983 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Eugene Sr and Melissa Franklin Breashears. She departed this life suddenly on April 28, 2018. Amber attended New Orleans public schools and earned a GED.
She studied cosmetology at Delgado College. She was a gifted hair, makeup and fashion artist. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dan and Mozella Kelly Franklin, paternal grandmother Willie Odessa Cosey and younger brother; Eugene Breashears, Jr. Amber is survived by her parents, a sister Kwan T. Breashears and two nephews, DeMarco Breashears and Lance White, Jr
She also leaves to cherish her memory seven aunts: Nesbit Kelly, Sybil Franklin, Jewel Franklin, Tami Franklin and Toni Franklin Hardy (Terrence) Brenda Cosey and Paula Osborne; four uncles: Sam Davis, Antoine Franklin (Sarah) and Harvey Franklin (Sherrie), Albert Breashears, Jr She is also survived by a host of loving cousins, other relatives, devoted friends and Winter her dog. Friends and associates of Amber Sherry and the entire grieving family are invited to pay their final respects at the funeral services on Thursday, May 10, 2018.
Viewing from 9 am-10 am followed by a memorial service at Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave; New Orleans, La. 70125. Interment at the Carrollton Cemetery in New Orleans.
