Obituary for Anthony Gasparro Print Anthony Gasparro 64 of Reeders, Pa. died on Sunday Feb. 3, 2019.
Born in Sacco, Italy he was the son of Giuseppe and Vita (Perrone) Gasperro. Anthony was a resident of the Reeders area for the past 11 years and prior to that he resided in the Queens, New York area. Anthony was a career military man serving in the United States Air force for many years retiring as a sergeant technician.
He was a very active member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Tannersville where he taught CCD classes and started the contemporary music choir and played guitar at numerous functions. Anthony also loved traveling back to his home country of Italy. Anthony is survived by a sister Maria Rocco and her husband Francesco of Whitestone, New York and 5 nieces and nephews; Antonella Golia, Carla Mazzella, Jillian Glaser, Danielle Ajaimy, and Jesse Gasparro.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday Feb. 7, 2019 at 10:00am from Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church Cherry Lane Road Tannersville, Pa. The family will receive friends from 9:30am until the time of the mass at the church.
