Gary Doyle Moore November 8, 1943 – January 27, 2019 On Sunday January 27th, Gary Doyle Moore, went home to be with his Lord and Savior and to join many loved ones in the celebration of his homecoming. He is now at peace and free from the illness he battled most of his life. Gary was born November 8, 1943 to Elba Ophelia Moore and Jimmie Emberson Moore in Houston Texas.

He was raised and attended high school in Galena Park Texas. In 1962 he joined the United States Marine Corps. and served until 1967.

Most of his career was spent working in Industrial construction and demolition. Gary enjoyed fishing and being out on the lake or bay any chance he could. He was a practical joker, but he also had a tender side.

He loved his dog, Lil’ Bit and didn’t hesitate to help when someone was in need. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Shirley Moore, his sons James “Scooter” Moore, Cory Johnson, his daughter Catherine “Kitty“Jane Moore, his extended sons, Lee Meineke and Paul Meineke. In addition to multiple grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Anne Marie Moore, his brothers, G.D. Moore and Jimmie Eugene Moore and his sister Shirley Moore Montgomery. Ephesians 4:32 Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
