Armando Santiago “Jimmy Chic” DeLeon, Jr., 60, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at his residence. Vigil service will be at 7:00 PM Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with burial at Mount Olive Memorial Park.

He had also owned his own shop called “The Shop”. He married Emily McCann on April 15, 2006. He loved fishing, camping and dancing.

He loved being with his kids and was the best dad to his children. He was a member of “Knights of Columbus” and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Emily of Big Spring; his children: James Alexander DeLeon, Sophie Annette DeLeon and Maximilian Leonardo DeLeon, all of Big Spring; Kimberlie DeLeon of Round Rock, Valerie Thompson (Eric) of South Carolina, Jake Eric DeLeon of Denver, CO, Gregory Alcantar of Midland, Armando DeLeon of San Diego, CA and Stacie King (Kevin) of Big Spring; his parents: Rosalinda and Jimmy DeLeon, Sr. of Big Spring; his siblings: Eugene Denis DeLeon and Michael Angelo DeLeon both of Big Spring, Yvonne Myers (Rick) of Sweetwater, Yvette DeLeon and Jackie DeLeon both of Big Spring; 7 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers will be David Ortiz, Cody McCann, Phillip Mendoza, Jr., Eddie DeLeon, Jr., Jared Rodriguez and Ben DeLeon, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Jino Flores, Eddie Flores, John DeLeon, Jessie Ortiz, Stone, Maximilian DeLeon, James DeLeon, Sophie DeLeon and Gordo and Dickie DeLeon, Jr. Arrangements are by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
