Obituary for Arthur W. Weber Jr. Arthur W. Weber, Jr. 87, of Estero, FL died unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, September 2, 2018. He was born May 1, 1931 in Hazelton, PA, a son of the late Arthur W. and Cecelia (née Murphy) Weber, Sr. A former resident of Safety Harbor, FL, he has resided in Naples and Estero since 1986. He was a graduate of St. Bonaventure University in Olean, NY, class of 1953.
He then served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. After the war, Art worked for GTE Sylvania as a controller for 30 plus years. After moving to Naples, he worked for Fischer International Systems from 1990 to 1999.
In retirement, Art worked at Raptor Bay Golf Club as a ranger. He was a member of Our Lady of Light Catholic Community and was a founding member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Naples. He is survived by his 7 children, Arthur J. “AJ” Weber of Estero, FL, John M. Weber of Lehigh Acres, FL, Edward J. Weber and his wife, Sue of Estero, FL, Patricia Ann Dunn and her husband, Brian of Monroeton, PA, Teresa Ann Beebe and her husband, Steve of Gainesville, FL, Marie Ann Underwood of Orlando, FL and Cecelia Ann Beagle and her husband, John of Naples, FL; one sister, Ann Williams of Williamsport, PA; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Loretta J. Weber in 2003; one daughter, Mary Ann Weber; his daughter-in-law, Deborah Weber and one son-in-law, Scott Underwood. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Light Catholic Community 19680 Cypress View Drive Fort Myers, FL 33967. Burial will follow at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Memorial Garden 625 111th Ave.
