Obituary for George Luis Ruano George L. Ruano, 65, of Bonita Springs, FL passed away peacefully on Friday, August 31, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at his residence. Formerly of Levittown, NY he had been a resident of Bonita Springs for the past 10 years. George was born May 14, 1953 in Havana, Cuba the son of the late Louis and Gladys (Hernandez) Ruano.

His career as a Customer Service Agent started with National Airlines before working for Pan American World Airways and retiring from Delta Airlines in December of 2017. George enjoyed playing softball and watching sports. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Kathleen “Kathy” Renwart-Ruano and her loving family.

He will also be missed by many former coworkers at Delta Airlines. A Mass of Christina Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 12:00 PM (noon) at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 28300 Beaumont Road, Bonita Springs, FL 34134. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in his name be made to the Café of Life, P.O. Box 367794, Bonita Springs, FL 34136 or by visiting www.
