Mr. Aylor C. Newby, age 56, of 13181 Kentuck Rd. , Ringgold, Virginia, died on January 17th, 2019 at Sovah Hospital. Mr. Newby was born on July 27, 1962, in South Boston, Virginia, to the late Floyd Lee and Mary Lou Newby.

Mr. Newby is survived by his significant other of sixteen years, Stacey Hill of the home; his son, Justin Newby of Blairs, Virginia; his step-son, Austin Hill of Danville, Virginia; his sisters, Susie McCormick (Steve) of Ringgold, Virginia, and Page Newby of Sutherlin, Virginia; his granddaughter, Alexis Newby; along with four nephews, one niece, and one great niece, Kinsley Campbell In addition to his parents Mr. Newby was predeceased by his sister, Phyllis Thompson A celebration of Mr. Newby’s life will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Barker Funeral Home at 7pm. officiated by Pastor Jimmy Bibee. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
