Curtis Lee Dove, Jr. passed away suddenly on Friday, January 18, 2019 after being in declining health for the past two years. Curtis was born in Danville, VA on April 15, 1959 a son to the late Curtis Lee Dove, Sr. and Nellie Lyles Jackson who survives. He had lived all of his life in Pittsylvania County and Caswell County.

Curtis had worked as a painter for Dove Construction Company until his retirement due to health reasons. He was of the Baptist Faith. Curtis is survived by his mother, Nellie Lyles Jackson of Yanceyville, NC, one daughter, Kristy D. Clardy of Arkansas, two sisters, Janice Irby, (Steve) of Prospect Hill, NC, Brenda Dove of Savannah, GA, two brothers, Vencent Dove of Pelham, NC and Joshua Hazelwood, (Stephanie) of Danville, VA.

A Funeral Service for Curtis well be conducted on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. by Reverend Gene Lyles and Judy Lyles from the Graveside in the Cooper Family Cemetery, on Cooper Cemetery Road, Prospect Hill, NC 27314.
